woo-hoo

So my car definitely towed at 1:01 am this morning. It was definitely an experience. But you know what, who cares? Shit happens...and now I'm over it. I got it back and all is good.

I think I may have IBS, but I'm not sure yet. Gimme a couple of hours.

Well, the Redskins lost which means that John Kerry will win the election.

From Yahoo! News:

The streak began in 1933, when the Boston Braves were renamed the Redskins. Since then, beginning with Franklin Roosevelt's re-election in 1936, the trend has held, including a 2000 Redskins loss to the Tennessee Titans (news) that predicted George W. Bush's win over Al Gore (news - web sites).

Let's cross our fingers that we can get this douchebag out of office.

Why is it that hanging out with my girlfriend is such a bad thing?

"Jesus dude, what are you, joined at the hip? Why don't you take some time apart?"

Because I really don't FUCKING want to! I love hanging out and spending time with her. And it's funny that the people (or person) who say this to me are the ones without girlfriends. And they know full well if and when they're in my situation, they would be doing the same thing. People seem to think I have no time for them anymore. Lemme set the record straight here: Yes, we have separate lives. Yes, we spend time apart. Yes, I make time for other people. No, we are not joined at the hip.

This is more or less directed at one person that's been pissing me off as of late with this shit. Anyhoo, just thought I'd get it out in here.

Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, does anyone have any expertise in the field of audio dubbing? I'm making a slide show and I need some help dubbing and fading music in and out of each section of the slide show.

I don't like updating this thing, hence the fact that I don't do it, so I am no longer going to be using an online journal. If anyone wants to talk to me, you know where I'm at.

Which Action Star Are You? Find out @ She's Crafty

Mon, Apr. 19th, 2004, 03:24 am

I feel kinda cheesy saying this into a journal, but there's no one around to talk to.

Words cannot even describe how happy I am right now. Everything just seems to be going exactly the way they should be. I came so fucking close to crying tonight, and believe me, for someone to get me to cry, especially tears of happiness, it takes a hell of a lot. But this person certainly did it to me. Almost. Now, if only school could make me feel this way, I'd be on my way.

Drama Lit papers have been building up to this very moment. I owe so much for that fucking class it's not even funny. And to top it off, if I don't have any work in on Tuesday, she will drop us from the class. But enough worrying about that, on to the papers.

One more note, to those of you who haven't seen Kill Bill Vol. 2, I strongly urge every one of you to go out and see the movie. NOW. Having now seen it as a whole, I must say that it is truly one of the best films ever made. Tarantino hasn't let us down yet with a movie (Jackie Brown is one of the most underrated films ever). Everything comes together so wonderfully it's beyond comprehension. Go see it. NOW.

the meme then goes on to ask that you add this meme to your own journals, but honestly, i don't really care if you do. copy the meme into your journal if you feel like it.

Can a movie trailer really affect someone this much? I want this movie to come out NOW!

Mon, Mar. 29th, 2004, 01:14 am

Got back from The Passion of The Christ a little while ago. I'm not the most religious person (in fact, I'm the least religious person I know), but goddamn that movie did something to me. I can't explain what it is at the moment, I just feel very strange. More to come as I figure out what the hell happened to me...

What kith are you? Find out here.

The eshu wander the entire world, following the path of their own fate. They get to wherever they're going at the best moment, and the trip is always exciting. They live for adventure and the new; the moment for them is always now, and cowardice is shameful. Eshu have an extremely personal sense of honour. They follow their paths with style and flair, sampling each new culture and quickly blending in with the locals. The wanderings of the eshu are legendary; probably something they've seen to themselves, as the eshu are consummate tellers of tales. Indeed, they learn through their tales, gaining experience both through the telling and the achieving of feats of legend. They often see themselves as the central characters in some grand play, be they hero or villain they play their parts to the hilt, no matter the cost or how reckless the action. They'd rather go out in a blaze of glory that will fuel stories for centuries to come than live in ignominy. Besides, as changelings, they'll simply be reborn.
